Timothy J. Key, M.D.
Timothy J. Key is President of Key Occupational Health Solutions, providing occupational medical services and consultation to industries and businesses. He is a District Medical Consultant for the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program (Alabama) and the Medical Director of the State of Alabama Employees Injury Compensation Trust Fund. From 2007 to 2009, Dr. Key served as an occupational medical expert at SSA Headquarters for the Office of Medical and Vocational Expertise’s review of disability cases. He holds many positions on academic, national, state, and local committees and is a member, and past President, of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Alabama Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association. He is a past member of the American Heart Association National First Aid Science Advisory Board and the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health. Dr. Key received a Masters of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.D. from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine, Birmingham, AL. He is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in occupational medicine.
