The Electronic Wage Reporting suite of services will be unavailable from 6:00 AM EST on Friday, 12/01/2023 until 5:00 AM EST on Monday, 12/04/2023 to accommodate upgrades for the Tax Year 2023 filing season. This includes AccuWage Online, W-2 Online, and EFW2 Wage File Upload Services. We will resume accepting electronic submissions, to include those for Tax Year 2023, on 12/04/2023.

Reminder, Tax Year 2023 wage reports must be filed with the Social Security Administration by January 31, 2024.

Business Services Online (BSO)

The Suite of Services allows organizations, businesses, people, employers, attorneys, non-attorneys representing Social Security claimants, and third-parties to exchange information with Social Security securely via the Internet. You must register and create your own password to access BSO.

Attention all Employers, to access BSO:

Your BSO UserID and password is no longer used to access BSO employer services. You must have a Social Security Online account,, or credential to gain access to the BSO application.

Please note that you do NOT need to create a new or credential specifically for SSA purposes. You can use your existing or credentials to log into SSA services too.

If you do not have a Social Security online account, a, or credential, you will need to create one. Select "Create account" in the "Employers" box.
